If your Tripollar STOP Classic device is not working, try the following troubleshooting tips:
• Ensure that you have removed the device’s protective cover (this is the cap which covers the electrodes during storage).
• Press and release the power button quickly to turn it on. A long press of the power button will turn the device off.
• Make sure that the electric cord is securely connected to the device and the power supply adaptor is firmly connected.
• Press the power button and verify that the green indicator light illuminates.
• Please ensure all four electrodes are in contact with the skin.
• Ensure that you applied the STOP Preparation Gel according to instructions described in the manual. The Tripollar STOP device does not work properly when the preparation gel is not applied.
• If the device stays too warm during treatment it may indicate that too much gel has been applied. Please use a very thin layer of the preparation gel and when moving to a new treatment area please wipe any excess gel off the treatment head.
• If the orange light is not turning on, please try the following:
- Ensure the gel is applied in a very thin layer.
- The circle movement should not be too fast or too slow.
- Follow the picture in the user manual for splitting the face into treatment areas.
- Please make sure you apply a reasonable amount of pressure otherwise the orange light may not show.
When the orange light turns on it means you have reached the correct temperature, you should stay there a few more seconds and then move to an adjacent area.
If you do not move the device, the green light turns off because of overheating – this is the safety mechanism.
